Previously Published Data

1.) Students will find the volume and surface area of the inside room. As part of the exercise, have them calculate how much paint it would take to paint the four walls (the lateral surface area of the room).

2.) Given the dimensions of a pool, students will calculate how many cubic centimeters of water it will take to fill it.
3.) Students will calculate how many times a wheel will turn over in a mile (circumference of the wheel). 4.) Students will calculate the amount of wood it would take to make a frame for different sizes of pictures.

Previously Published Data

1.) Students will calculate the perimeter of a figure.

2.) Students will calculate the circumference of a circle, when the radius is given.
3.) Students will calculate the surface area and volume of a three dimensional figure.
4.) Students will find the lateral area of a prism.
