1.) Given several tables of ordered pairs, students will determine which are functions and which are relations. If a relation is a function, they should determine the equation that describes the data. 

1.) Given a set of ordered pairs, students will explain how they know whether the pairs satisfy the definition of function or relation, determine the equation for the set of pairs, and sketch the graph. Students will use a graphing calculator to check their answers.
