TITLE: Summer School Coordinator

Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District

Session: June 18, 2007 through July 30, 2007

DEADLINE TO APPLY: June 1, 2007

SALARY: $500.00 Special Assignment stipend

POSITION ASSIGNMENT: Coordinator for all schools in the Sierra-Plumas Joint Unified School District (S-PJUSD)

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Summer School Coordinator will provide overall direction for the summer school session district wide. Employee is responsible for training teachers on summer school attendance, collecting all attendance data for the business office, and communicate with staff and Superintendent. Coordinator will review course outlines and ensure course materials are available to students as well as provide teaching staff support. Reports to Superintendent and accepts all other duties assigned by the Superintendent.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Possess a current California teaching credential. Prefer a person experienced in coordinating summer school programs and has provided instruction in the district summer school program.
